A processor may engage another processor to carry out certain tasks or activities related to the handling and storage of data. Such another processor is termed as a “Sub-processor” or “Level 2 Processor” as per The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The GDPR clearly mentions rights and obligations of Sub-processors and requires them to meet the necessary terms and conditions. We have reviewed our contracts with all our Sub-processors to have transparent data security and data sharing obligations.
We have compiled our current list of Sub-processors which process your data on behalf of Recooty.
We may engage new sub-processors as our Services evolve. When we add or replace a sub-processor that processes personal data on behalf of our Subscribers, we will update this page and, where required by our agreements or by applicable law, provide advance notice. Subscribers who wish to be notified of changes may subscribe to updates by writing to [email protected]. If a Subscriber has a reasonable, good-faith objection to a new sub-processor on data-protection grounds, the Subscriber may notify us within thirty (30) days of the notice and we will work in good faith to address the objection; if we are unable to do so, the Subscriber may, as their exclusive remedy, terminate the affected Services.
